GEMSTONE Triangular Pietersite Ring: Size 8.5

Approximate size: 8.5

This triangular pietersite stone has a gorgeous blue flash or "chatoyancy" in the light. Thick, triple-link band.

Pietersite is also called "eagle's eye" and was named in honor of Sid Pieters who discovered it in 1962 in Namibia, Africa. It has embedded fibers of amphibole minerals, which cause a blue chatoyancy (the "cat eye" effect of reflective fibers in stones like tiger's eye).

*Please note: the color of the stone may be slightly different in person due to photography/computer monitor/device screen color discrepancies.
