This black and white rectangular stone with a slightly blue and green cast is reminiscent of a snowy, rocky landscape. Thick, triple-link band.

Dendrites in stones are made of metallic oxides and often resemble ferns or branches.

The name agate comes from the Achates River, currently the Dirillo river, south of Sicily, in Italy. It is a common rock consisting of chalcedony and quartz, comes in a variety of colors, and is often banded.
