A tall triangle of white pyrite is set with tiny stainless spheres and a winged skull is perched at the base. The stone has a shiny metallic luster best seen in the video view. Tapered, double-link band.

Because of pyrite's metallic luster and normally pale brass-yellow hue, it is more well-known by its nickname fool's gold. Its name comes from the Greek pyritēs lithos which means "stone or mineral which strikes fire," because in ancient times it was discovered it could create sparks when struck against steel.
