Max length is 20.5 but the clasp can be clipped anywhere along the chain for a shorter length. The stone is 1-5/8" tall.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz and is the birthstone for February. Its name comes from the Greek words for "not" and "intoxicate," a reference to the belief that the stone would protect one from drunkenness.
